Website Process

Kick-off

Strategy

The strategy phase includes goal setting, research, architecture, moodboards, and a project plan to set us up for success.

Phase 1

Architecture

The architecture phase allows us to plan the structure of your website pages and the arrangement of content within each.

Phase 2

Design

Design prototypes are created for each page, including multiple opportunities for you to voice feedback.

Phase 3

Code

Our developers take the designs and bring them to life online, using a platform like Squarespace for painless content management.

Phase 4

Launch Prep

We'll upload content, fix bugs, input tracking codes and metadata, create custom training videos, and finally launch!

Working with Rubric

Project Portal

When you work with Rubric, you tap into our internal process. For every project, we create a Notion portal to keep you in the loop.

The portal serves as a place for us to share deliverables, assets, due dates, and milestones so that you have a central place to access everything at any time. It also includes a high-level project timeline so you can see where we are in the big picture.

Slack Channel

Work moves faster when communication keeps up. That’s why we invite your team to our Slack channel at the start of a project.

Bringing all of the project communications into one place allows us to stay on the same page and make decisions in real-time. We can send messages, hop on calls, and more—all inside your client channel.

Training Videos

Creating flexible websites that are easy to update is our top priority. When we hand over the keys to your new site, we set you up for success by delivering Loom training videos for every page.

We’ll cover how to make content updates, restructure or remove pages, anything else that’s unique to your site or business.
